First Access to Marconi Institute Google Workspace
This step-by-step guide is designed to help students and teachers with their first login to the institutional Google Workspace accounts.
๐ First Access Procedureโ
Step 1: Get your credentialsโ
Your credentials (username and temporary password) are provided by the Institute's secretariat. Make sure you have them handy before proceeding.
- In class through the coordinating teachers
- Electronic register in the communications section
- Student secretariat (hours: 8:00-14:00, Mon-Fri)
Step 2: Access the login pageโ
- Open your browser
- Visit the Google login page: https://accounts.google.com
Step 3: Enter institutional credentialsโ
- In the username field, enter the institutional email address provided to you
- Enter the temporary password
- Click "Next"
Step 4: Create your new passwordโ
Upon first login, you will be asked to change the temporary password.
Requirements for a secure password:
- โ At least 8-12 characters
- โ Uppercase and lowercase letters
- โ Numbers
- โ Special characters (optional)
- โ Do not use personal information
Step 5: Accept terms of serviceโ
After creating the new password, you may need to accept the Google Workspace terms of service. Read the information and accept to continue.
